Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities (bathing, dressing, mobility)
- Monitor and record vital signs and patient observations
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
- Document care activities accurately in electronic health records
- Collaborate with healthcare teams for resident care planning
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification (or willingness to obtain)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance
- Compassionate attitude with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Background clearance and TB test required
