Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic wound care and assist with mobility using walkers, wheelchairs, or hoyer lifts.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- No prior CNA experience necessary; we train!
- Strong desire to help others and demonstrate compassion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred but not required.
