Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and patient positioning
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Support patient emotional well-being and communication with families
- Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary care teams
- Participate in patient admission/discharge processes
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and health screening
- Passionate geriatric care experience a plus
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
