Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate daily care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely using proper techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Support patient independence while respecting dignity and privacy
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – training provided!
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Tennessee CNA certification (or willingness to obtain during paid training)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Compassionate attitude with commitment to patient care
- Must pass background check and drug screening
- TB test and immunization records required
