Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide mobility support and transfer assistance using proper techniques
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Document resident care accurately and maintain medical records
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Engage residents in recreational activities to promote socialization
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior healthcare experience necessary
- Must complete state-approved CNA training program (provided)
- Current CPR certification (training available)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Tennessee CNA license required upon training completion
