Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature.
- Support patients with mobility issues and transfers using proper lifting techniques and assistive devices.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff to update on patient status and needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in accordance with facility protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients to enhance their quality of life.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current CNA certification preferred but not mandatory (willingness to obtain certification through our training program is a plus).
- Strong compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to document patient data accurately.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
