Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature accurately.
- Turn, reposition, and move patients to prevent bedsores and ensure maximum comfort.
- Feed patients according to dietary restrictions and individual care plans.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe patient environment.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas or medical appointments as needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA Certification preferred, but not mandatory for this entry-level position.
- Strong desire to work in a healthcare setting with a passion for helping others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
