Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Report changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with patient transfers and mobility using proper body mechanics.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- CNA certification preferred, but we are willing to train candidates with no prior experience.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use electronic health records.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move patients up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.
