Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with mobility transfers and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs
- Document client care progress accurately in electronic health records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities
- Light housekeeping tasks to maintain safe living environments
Qualifications
- New York State HHA certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Minimum 1 year professional home care experience
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Valid NYS driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build client trust
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
