Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist the nursing staff with medical procedures and maintaining a clean, safe environment.
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and inquiries.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- No prior CNA experience necessary; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
