Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health status and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse immediately.
- Take and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfers to and from beds, wheelchairs, or chairs.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety by maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Willingness to obtain state-required CNA certification and complete on-the-job training.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred but not mandatory for this entry-level role.
