In this role, you will play a vital role in the comfort and well-being of our patients, providing essential daily living support under the supervision of licensed nurses. Join a team that values growth, integrity, and patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Provide basic bedside care and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Turn and reposition bedridden patients to prevent bedsores and ensure comfort.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and assist patients with eating when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment for patients.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain CNA certification through our training program if not already certified.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift patients as needed throughout the shift.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for charting and documentation.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (optional, but preferred for facility travel).
