Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide basic hygiene care and help patients move or transfer to beds or wheelchairs.
- Feed patients according to their dietary requirements and document intake.
- Observe and report any changes in patient behavior or physical condition to the nursing staff.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current CNA Certification or willingness to obtain one (training provided).
- Strong communication skills and a genuine desire to help others.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic health record entry.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting.
- Reliable transportation.
