Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with feeding and mobility as needed to ensure patient safety.
- Document patient care plans and update medical records accurately and timely.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for all patients.
- Communicate any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Willingness to learn and obtain CNA certification if not currently held.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation is a plus.
- CPR certification is a plus but not required for hire.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
