Responsibilities
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse (RN) on duty.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment.
- Transport patients to and from medical appointments or therapy sessions.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Willingness to obtain CNA Certification or complete a state-approved training program.
- Strong empathy, patience, and compassion for the elderly and sick.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and standing for long periods.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check.
