Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and walking.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Communicate changes in patient behavior or condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Willingness to obtain or already hold a CNA certification (training provided for the right candidate).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Compassionate nature with a desire to work in long-term care.
- Reliable transportation.
