As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide essential care to our residents, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being in a state-of-the-art facility.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Feed patients and ensure they remain hydrated and properly nourished.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment.
- Communicate changes in patient condition or needs to the Registered Nurse (RN) or Charge Nurse immediately.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, active CNA Certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with a focus on empathy and patience.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and assist with lifting patients (up to 50 lbs).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to complete all required facility orientation and training.
