Responsibilities
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Help patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting with dignity and respect.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Accurately record and report patient temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Maintain Hygiene: Ensure patient rooms and common areas are clean, safe, and sanitized at all times.
- Observe & Report: Alert nursing staff to any changes in a patient's physical or emotional condition immediately.
- Support Mobility: Assist patients with ambulation and transfer using proper body mechanics and equipment.
- Meal Assistance: Serve meals and help patients who require assistance with eating.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary. We value attitude and willingness to learn.
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred but not required upon hiring.
