Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, including transfers to wheelchairs and walking aids.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide emotional support.
Qualifications
- Current and valid CNA License in the State of Texas.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented work ethic.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
