Responsibilities
- Provide Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor Patient Health: Observe and report any changes in patient behavior, physical condition, or vital signs to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist with Mobility: Support patients in moving, walking, and transferring to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Record Keeping: Accurately document patient care activities, intake/output, and any incidents in electronic medical records.
- Communication: Serve as a vital link between patients, families, and the healthcare team, relaying important information clearly and compassionately.
- Environment Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Compassion: A genuine desire to help others and a patient-centered approach to care.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift patients (up to 50 lbs), and perform physical tasks as needed.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- CPR Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is a plus but not mandatory upon hire.
