Responsibilities
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Provide basic nursing care as directed by registered nurses and physicians.
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, ensuring their comfort and privacy.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient progress and communicate any changes in condition to the nursing staff immediately.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current State of New York CNA Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- No prior professional nursing experience required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use electronic health records (EHR).
