Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transferring them safely between bed and wheelchair.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for all patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care status.
Qualifications
- Current State of Illinois CNA License and CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Compassionate, patient-oriented, and detail-oriented mindset.
