Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation
- Assistance with therapeutic exercises and treatments
- Collaborative care planning with RNs and physicians
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Emotional support and communication with patients/families
- Adherence to HIPAA and facility-specific regulations
Qualifications
- Active Louisiana CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Clear criminal background check and drug screening
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Proficient in EHR documentation systems
- Spanish language skills preferred (not required)
