Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with evidence-based nursing practices and hospital protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records (EHR) compliance
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and preventive care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations using critical thinking and rapid assessment skills
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards across all clinical areas
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact state license with PA residency)
- BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred for critical care units
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care setting
- Strong assessment skills and ability to prioritize complex patient needs
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence for patient interactions
- Proficiency with EHR systems (EPIC experience highly valued)
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
