Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Implement and document individualized care plans to meet specific patient needs.
- Report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the charge nurse immediately.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and active Kansas CNA Certification (CNA-I or CNA-II) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification must be current.
- High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients frequently throughout the shift.
