Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
- Monitor patient health status and promptly report any changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
- Accurately record vital signs, medication administration, and patient interactions in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents, adhering to all infection control protocols.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding for residents with special dietary needs.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered CNA license issued by the State of Arizona.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull patients as necessary to assist with mobility.
- Reliable transportation (if applicable to facility duties).
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
