Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care by assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist licensed nurses with wound care, feeding, and mobility assistance to ensure patient safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care logs and observations.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of North Carolina.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
