Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and nutritional plans.
- Move patients safely using mobility aids or transfer techniques.
- Document patient care activities, updates, and changes in condition in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must be willing to obtain a valid CNA certification (training provided).
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature is essential.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a healthcare team.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
