Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient behavior, and medical conditions
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain patient safety protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Administer basic treatments and medications as directed
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in electronic health records
- Support infection control procedures and maintain a sterile environment
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills and emotional intelligence
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Spanish fluency highly valued for diverse patient population
