Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, reporting any abnormalities to the RN or charge nurse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer of patients, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Document patient care accurately and in accordance with facility policies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State CNA Certification (or eligible to obtain).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
