Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Maintain clean, safe patient environments following infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
Qualifications
- Active DC Nursing Assistant Certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in home care or assisted living
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and drug screening
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills and compassion for elderly care
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
