Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care provided
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support meal preparation and feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain resident comfort
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans and resident updates
- Report changes in resident health or behavior promptly
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent long-term care or acute care experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Clear TB test and health screening within 6 months
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
