Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic systems
- Adhere to evidence-based practices and JCAHO standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and unit committees
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- BLS certification; ACLS/PALS for specialty units
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
