Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document patient vital signs, dietary intake, and behavioral changes
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and maintain sterile environments
- Ensure patient safety through proper infection control protocols
- Deliver emotional support and companionship to enhance patient wellbeing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term care experience
- CPR/BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills and empathy for vulnerable populations
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (EHR)
- Successful background check and drug screening
