Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned specialty unit (ICU/ER/Med-Surg)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Implement patient education plans
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and hospital policies
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment
Qualifications
- Active Missouri RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN with 2+ years experience considered)
- ACLS/BLS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Electronic medical record proficiency
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in fast-paced environment
- Per diem or contract availability required
