Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues and transfer them safely to beds or wheelchairs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and follow safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license and certification required.
- Experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
