Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, accurately.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the nursing staff regarding patient conditions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed based on dietary restrictions.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required (valid in California).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong desire to help others.
