Responsibilities
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rates, accurately and on time.
- Assist patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families during their stay.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and specific patient needs.
- Document patient care plans, daily updates, and any changes in condition in electronic health records (EHR).
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient status.
Qualifications
- Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a long-term care, hospital, or home health setting preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients as needed.
- CPR certification is a plus.
