Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care to patients including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient health status accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and ensure patient safety protocols are followed
- Collaborate with RNs and other healthcare professionals to develop care plans
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Support emotional well-being through companionship and active listening
Qualifications
- Active Florida CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of acute care or long-term care experience
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHRs)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and night shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
