Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide direct, compassionate care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Signs: Monitor and accurately record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assistance: Assist registered nurses (RNs) and licensed practical nurses (LPNs) with medical procedures, treatments, and documentation.
- Hygiene & Comfort: Ensure patient hygiene is maintained and comfort needs are met at all times.
- Safety: Implement and maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current and active Florida CNA License.
- CPR: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred but not mandatory for top candidates.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Compassion: Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and patient-centered care.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
