Job Summary
As a CNA at Sunset Manor, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our residents. You will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our patients in a supportive, state-of-the-art environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with feeding and mobility for residents requiring support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation according to facility protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic care.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies following established safety and emergency procedures.
- Assist in the orientation of new staff and support a positive, team-oriented culture.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license valid in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (ACLS preferred).
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and assist with lifting/transferring patients.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
