Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, and report significant changes to the nursing staff immediately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring them from beds to wheelchairs and walking assistance.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for all patients, adhering to strict hygiene protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the State of Florida.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor and a genuine commitment to patient well-being and safety.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
