Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care including bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and hygiene support
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with patient transfers, positioning, and movement using proper techniques
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and respond to patient needs
- Maintain clean, organized patient environments and infection control protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support end-of-life care and comfort measures as needed
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with excellent interpersonal abilities
- Availability for weekend shifts (Saturday/Sunday) and holiday rotations
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
