Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent bedsores.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the nursing staff and physicians promptly.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized patient environment in strict compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license issued by the State of North Carolina.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or home health setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
