Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist registered nurses and physicians with medical procedures and treatment plans.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment at all times.
- Document patient care services and changes in patient condition according to established protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid Pennsylvania CNA Certification and current State License.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; physical stamina required.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
