Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and positioning patients
- Support licensed nurses in implementing care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized patient environment
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with geriatric patients
- Clear background check and drug screening
