Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized care to patients including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to clinical staff
- Assist with medication administration and treatment protocols
- Maintain accurate patient records and care documentation
- Support patients with daily activities and emotional well-being
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA safety standards
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or geriatric experience preferred
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and empathy skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights/weekends
- Clean background check and drug screening
