Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based patient care in high-acuity cardiac ICU setting
- Administer medications and treatments with precise clinical judgment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using Epic EMR systems
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond rapidly to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license with current BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 5+ years experience considered)
- ACLS certification required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Experience with Epic EMR systems highly valued
- Commitment to continuous learning through 20+ annual CEU hours
