Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, transferring them safely to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Document patient care plans, daily progress notes, and any changes in condition accurately.
- Communicate effectively with RNs, physicians, and family members regarding patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe environment for patients and staff.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed staff and report adverse reactions.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Ohio CNA License required.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
