Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with daily living activities (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs, and report any changes or abnormalities to the registered nurse immediately.
- Assist with feeding, toileting, and mobility to ensure patient comfort and safety.
- Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with facility policies.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
- Collaborate effectively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Comfort and support patients and their families during their stay.
Qualifications
- Current and active CNA license issued by the state of Colorado.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, long-term care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Compassionate nature with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and assist with patient lifting/transferring.
